Diego Rivera
Head Strength Coach — Barbell & Powerlifting

Diego holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston and has competed in USAPL powerlifting for nine years. He has coached over 150 members through their first competition and built Mirravol's barbell programming from launch in 2018. His coaching approach prioritizes technique over load at every stage of development.

Conditioning Coach — MetCon & Kettlebell

Funke spent eight years as a collegiate track and field coach at Rice University before transitioning to functional fitness. She designs all of Mirravol's group conditioning programming with a focus on building sustainable work capacity. Her 6 AM class consistently draws the highest weekly attendance at the gym.

Mobility Coach — Movement & Corrective

Jin is a licensed physical therapy assistant and certified corrective exercise specialist. He bridges the gap between hard training and athletic longevity, identifying the movement patterns that limit performance before they lead to injury. Everything you need to know before your first visit to Mirravol Fitness in Montrose, Houston.

Do I need prior experience to join?
No. All new members receive a complimentary movement screen with Coach Park on their first visit. This helps us place you in the right starting program and identify any movement restrictions before you begin loading. Our coaches work with beginners and experienced athletes in the same sessions.
What equipment is available on the open floor?
Our 20,000-square-foot facility includes 12 powerlifting platforms, a full free-weight section from 5 to 150 lbs, cable machines, conditioning rigs, kettlebells from 8 to 48 kg, assault bikes, a rowing section, and a 40-foot turf lane for sled and carry work.
Is parking available at the Montrose location?
Yes. Mirravol Fitness has a dedicated surface lot behind the building on Montrose Boulevard with 28 spaces. Additional street parking is available on Montrose and side streets. The gym is also accessible via the METRORail Red Line with a short walk from the Museum District station.
How do I cancel my membership?
All memberships are month-to-month. Cancel at any time before your next billing date by visiting the front desk or emailing info@mirravol.com. No cancellation fees apply. Class Pack sessions are non-refundable but remain valid for the full 90 days after purchase.
What is the drop-in rate?
A single coached class drop-in is $24. Open floor access without a class is $18 per visit. All first-time visitors complete a brief intake form on arrival. Drop-in visitors are welcome at any session with available capacity.
